Fix Issues With SourceTree and Git

This morning I couldn’t clone a Git repository and got a message like warning: templates not found /usr/local/git/share/git-core/templates. You can easily fix this issue by changing the used Git version binary. Open the SourceTree preferences and go to the Git tab. Here you can see the Git version and that SourceTree is using the Embedded Git Version.

Click on Use System Git, select the git binary or just click on open and the Git version will change to System Git version. You don’t have to restart SourceTree, just clone the repository again.
