Fix DisplayLink issues (macOS Catalina)

For those who still have problems with DisplayLink and macOS Catalina [10.15 (19A602)], try the following.

1.) Download and replace the display driver with https://www.displaylink.com/downloads/file?id=1334
2.) Reboot macOS
3.) Open display settings and gather all windows to one of the working screens
4.) Change the refresh rate of your external displays from whatever refresh rate you are using to 50 Hertz or lower
5.) Go to the Arrangement tab within your built-in or primary display and check Mirror Displays. Move the tiles around and uncheck Mirror Displays
6.) You can now change the refresh rate back to its original rate

Unfortunately, this fix does not survive a reboot but works perfectly fine to lock the screen or put the Mac asleep for a while.
